Monitoring consists of collecting and interpreting data.  The data is graphed and compared to uncover anomalies while being normalized against weather data.

 

Basic monthly reports are available for the M&V service. These reports are pre-built to highlight energy consumption and demand by each energy source on a minute-by-minute basis during a monthly period, as well as total energy cost by source
during that period.

 

For customers who are interested in maximizing their energy savings, we offer the EnergyMonitor solutions. In addition to the basic features of the M&V solution, RTS Controls will provide continuous energy management service by assigning an energy engineer to monitor your energy performance on a daily basis.

 

RTS’s energy engineers will work with customers to establish
energy baselines, benchmarks and reporting guidelines to be included for review at various levels of the customer’s organization. The goal of the EnergyMonitor offering is to set performance targets for reducing energy costs, and have SHIFT engineers proactively working every day to obtain the targeted performance.

• An analysis of energy utilization
• Recommendations of energy savings opportunities
